My Ceremonies are personal, professional, eloquent and memorable.
I am known as Lyn (or Lynnie) by my friends and some even call me lucky because of my awards.
These are awards for both public speaking and prizes won for my written words.
Which is perfect you see because as a Celebrant, it’s the words that are spoken and written is what ‘I do!’
However, it is your story as told to me that is used to create a ceremony that is as unique as you.
While I am based in Tamworth, please know that I can and ‘I will’ travel to be by your side,
Because I am Authorised by The Australian Government to marry people, Australia wide.
So, if you are committing to your life partner, renewing or saying your vows to become partners for life, or whether you are gathering for a festive family affair or honouring the end of a loved one's life.
Possibly it is a Short & Sweet Ceremony, Drive-Thru wedding, Legals Only Registry Office style wedding or you envisage an unforgettable all-out exclusive event,
Remember my name...it's Lynette Parton, Marriage Celebrant.
More about me:
You may ask, why am I a Celebrant?
Well, it was actually because of a funeral.
My mum's in fact.
Using the skills I had learnt from Toastmasters, I had so many comments after her Ceremony telling me that I had found my calling. So I listened.
I then went on to complete the training to become a Celebrant for both funerals and marriages.
It may sound strange but whether it be a wedding or a memorial for a loved one, a naming day or renewal of vows my goal is to ensure that the people who attend will remember how they felt that day, long after the words are forgotten.
I love to hear comments, just like when an unknown young 25 year old male after a wedding came to shake my hand and tell me that, and I quote him "I was captivated. I didn't want it to end!"
Or when ladies in their senior years tell me that they are going home to rewrite their final words because they'd loved what they had just heard been delivered by me as "Real and relevant and absolutely beautiful!"
Also, I give back to the community by volunteering my time at NEWS on Wheels, which is a local newspaper recording made for the sight impaired.
I volunteer for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library,
I also donate regularly to The Australian Red Cross Blood Bank plus
I am a Justice of The Peace.
But that's enough about me.
I'd love to meet you and hear your story!
So please ring, message me or come to my Office on our farm.
After all, they say talk is cheap and with me the first meeting to inform you of everything legal,
(that takes about an hour) is obligation-free
and you can't get any cheaper than that!
